Silver Slipper at Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO) Las Vegas 1958. The sign was installed at 3100 Las Vegas Blvd, where it spun around for about ten years. Howard Hughes bought the casino and had the slipper in a fixed position with the toe away from his suite at the Desert Inn, legend has it, because he feared cameras could be installed in the slipper to spy on him.
